Normal/Combination Skin

Normal/Combination Skin is not too dry and not too oily but could be a bit of a combination in different areas. Your skin is classified as ‘combination’ if you experience oiliness and shine in the T-zone (forehead, nose and chin) a few hours after washing, while having normal or dry skin on the cheeks and along the jaw line.

Dry Skin

Dry Skin conditions range from mildly dry with light flaking and skin tightness to extremely rough scaly skin.

Oily Skin

Oily Skin will have excess oil and shine a few hours after washing and is prone to acne breakouts monthly or as a response to stress.

Sensitive Skin

Sensitive Skin is defined by heightened sensory responses to chemical, environmental or social triggers. People with sensitive skin are more likely to experience stinging, itching, burning, dryness, redness and acne breakouts in response to their skin’s particular trigger.

Aging

Nearly all of the visible signs of aging, such as wrinkles and fine lines, are due to accumulated sun exposure. This condition, known as photoaging, causes the appearance of lax, unevenly pigmented, wrinkled, dull and lifeless skin on sun exposed areas of the body.

Fine Lines & Wrinkles

Nearly all of the visible signs of aging are due to accumulated sun exposure. Fine lines and wrinkles first tend to appear around the eyes and mouth and are primarily caused by photoaging of the skin on sun exposed areas of the body.

Dry or Scaly Skin

Dry skin and scaly skin conditions range from mildly dry with light flaking and skin tightness to extremely rough hyperkeratotic disorders.

Acne & Blemishes

Your skin is blemished if you are prone to acne breakouts monthly or in response to stress. Acne and blemishes can occur on the face, back and chest.

Dark Circles & Crow’s Feet

As we age, the skin around our eyes gets thinner and more vulnerable which can lead to dark circles under the eyes and fine lines and wrinkles around the eye area (crow’s feet or squint lines).

Uneven Skin Tone & Dark Spots

Your skin has uneven skin tone if you have areas of discoloration on your face, chest, shoulders or hands from years of sun exposure. Also known as sun spots, age spots and dark spots, these areas of discoloration are visible signs of photoaging. Skin may also become discolored after pregnancy or as a result of using oral contraceptives.

Lax or Sagging Skin

Lax or Sagging Skin is due to the loss of tone or firmness encountered from accumulated sun exposure and gravity.

Blotchy

Blotchy skin is prone to redness. Those with botchy skin may flush easily as a reaction to any number of factors, including heat and oxidative stress.

Keratosis Pilaris

Keratosis Pilaris (KP) is a skin (follicular) condition that appears as rough bumps around hair follicles (goose-bump like appearance) on the skin of the back and outer side of the upper arms and thighs. KP is typically most developed and noticeable in adolescent females. KP is an extremely common condition that can be cosmetically troubling but is not harmful in a medical sense. The condition is benign, self-limiting, and disappears with increasing age. AHAs are known to help smooth KP bumps.

Dull Skin

Dull skin lacks radiance or glow. Nearly all of the visible signs of aging are due to accumulated sun exposure. Dull and tired skin are primarily caused by photoaging of the skin on sun exposed areas of the body.
