Formulation

  • Glycolic acid is the AHA of choice. Its small molecular size makes it effective in removing the build-up of dead cells on the surface of the skin. Level 1 contains 4% glycolic acid and an ideal pH for better results.
  • The Amphoteric System™ controls the release of the glycolic acid to minimize irritation and tingling.
  • SPF 15 protects against UVA and UVB rays.

Tips

The lower the pH level is in glycolic acid products, the deeper and more effective the exfoliation (3.5 is the minimum allowed). All NeoStrata's glycolic acid products are formulated with a pH range between 3.5 – 4.0. Gradually build skin tolerance the first two weeks you use the product.
